What is Viboliv 500?
Viboliv 500 containing the active ingredient metadoxine is a hepatoprotective agent used for the treatment of a fatty liver caused by alcoholism. The medication is able to accelerate the elimination of alcohol from the blood and tissues to help restore functional structure of the liver and relieve neuro psychological disorders associated with alcohol intoxication.
How is Viboliv 500 used?
Viboliv 500 is usually taken 1 to 2 times per day or as directed by a doctor. The tablets can be taken with or without food but should be taken with some water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. The recommended maximum dosage is 1000mg in a 24 hour period.
Adverse effects
