What is Zipsydon?
Zipsydon works by affecting certain natural substances in the brain to help maintain mental balance. The active ingredient ziprasidone is considered an atypical antipsychotics type of medication. It can be used to help control episodes of mania, symptoms of schizophrenia or mixed episodes in patients suffering from bipolar disorder.
How is Zipsydon used?
Zipsydon should be taken as directed by a doctor, usually twice per day. To prevent an upset stomach, the medication should be taken with some food along with a glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the condition being treated and the patient’s response to the treatment. The capsules can be used to help control the symptoms but cannot be used to cure the mental conditions.
Adverse effects
Zipsydon may cause unwanted side effects such as:

- Loss of appetite
- Diarrhea
- Headaches
- Vomiting
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Drowsiness
Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persist or encounter more severe side effects such as:
- Painful erection that lasts for hours
- Decreased sexual ability
- Signs of infection
- Muscle stiffness
- Confusion
- Tremors
- Irregular heartbeat
Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Zipsydon is not always suitable for all patients.
