What is Zocon Eye Drop?
Zocon Eye Drop is used to treat eye infections caused by fungal bacteria. It operates by interfering with the cell walls of the fungus to prevent reproduction and help destroy the infection. This alleviates symptoms associated with such infections including inflammation, irritation, or pain. Be aware that this medication is only useful for treating fungus infections and will not be effective against those caused by a virus or bacteria.

How is Zocon Eye Drop used?
Use Zocon Eye Drop as is instructed by your doctor only. Most patients are instructed to use between 1 and 3 drops per affected eye per day. To apply the eye drops, tilt your head back, pull down the lower lid of the eye being treated and squeeze one drop onto the eye. Slowly close the eye for at least 30 seconds while applying gentle pressure to the inside corner of the eye to prevent drainage of the solution.

Always complete the full course of medication you have been prescribed in order to prevent the infection from returning stronger and more resistant to antibiotics. It is also important to prevent the solution from becoming contaminated, and such you should wash your hands before and after each application and prevent the applicator from touching any foreign surface, including the surface of your eye. If you notice the medication has become discolored or cloudy, dispose of the bottle and contact your health care provider immediately. Continued use of contaminated medication may cause health complications.
