Do not rush to assess reality

Take time for yourself.
During depressive episodes, it is best to work as little as possible or not work at all and take a vacation. Cleaning or a trip to another city, a book, your favorite movies – allow yourself to spend time on it. Do what you want and what makes you happy. If you want to give someone a gift or call a friend, do it. You and what you do should not be liked by everyone, but you should like it.

It is very important to realize that positive events require no less energy than negative ones. A big party, a warm dinner with friends, launching a complex project – all this requires effort, even if you love it from the heart.
Depression is often caused by an underestimation of reality and the present. Allow yourself to live the way you like. Sleep, eat delicious, talk about love with a loved one. This will help you overcome depression faster. A necessary rule of recovery is a sense of happiness.
