Everyone has a different understanding of the term healthy lifestyle. Most people think that they lead a healthy lifestyle just because they don’t drink or smoke. But it is not so. For example, you have an unhealthy lifestyle if you often eat fried food. All McDonald’s-type fast food is junk food. It contains a lot of harmful fats and is often prepared by non-professional cooks. This is also a huge drawback. Let’s consider how to follow a healthy lifestyle? The answer is simple – cook food at home, regularly exercise and visit your doctor.
Food
Every person wants to look beautiful, be young and feel good. This is natural, because man’s desire for beauty is insurmountable. And millions of people go to the gym to “get in shape.” They train exhaustingly for a week, a month, or even two. But when they weigh themselves, they realize that the lost weight is far from what they were aiming for. They get upset and go to some restaurant, overeat and gain weight again. All the months of training were wasted.
Now let’s analyze why it turned out this way. People did not take into account one important problem – the gym and physical activity is only 30% of the success in losing weight or gaining weight. The other 70% is food. Also, often due to unhealthy food, people often get sick with very serious consequences. So that a person can immediately figure out how to avoid this – let’s briefly consider what a healthy diet is.
The first and most important rule is not to eat flour, fried and fatty foods. Avoid white bread, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fried meatballs and dumplings.
Eat more buckwheat and rice with vegetables, soups, fruits and you will feel like a different person after a week. Your body will be cleansed – toxins will be excreted, and you will feel much better. It should also be noted that you should give up carbonated drinks and juices. Juices can be drunk only freshly squeezed, but it is better to drink water. You need to drink at least 2 liters of water every day.
Physical activity
Physical activity should be gradually increased. At first, instead of watching TV in the evenings, you can take a walk near the house, or better yet, in a park. Thanks to this, the body will recover, and you will sleep soundly at night. After a while, start running for a short time at an easy pace. Increase your running time a little each day. If it is difficult to run without rest, alternate between slow running and walking. If you have enough money, go to the gym, it will improve your body, help you lose weight or, on the contrary, gain weight.
Check up
Visit your family doctor at least once a year and get a checkup. This is an important component of a healthy lifestyle, because prevention or treatment of the disease in the initial stages is better than treatment of complications. For example, with an increased level of glucose, a person can take special drugs such as Forxiga or Gliclazide and thanks to this prevent such pathologies as nerve problems, kidney damage, blindness and sexual function problems.
