Modern cosmetics for skin health

People always want to be healthy, beautiful, and improve their well-being. In today’s world, you can see a lot of care products on store shelves, which, according to their manufacturers, can help solve almost any problem. But how to choose the product you need among thousands of others?

Excursion to the past

Since ancient times, people have paid a lot of attention to their appearance. Even in Ancient Egypt, cosmetic products were used, and this is evidenced by cream recipes found during modern archaeological excavations. The bust of the Egyptian queen, the beautiful Nefertiti, is still admired today, but her elongated eyebrows and graceful cheekbones, according to experts, are just a wonderful make-up.

However, nowadays, thanks to technological progress, cosmetics can help not only to be more beautiful, but also to be healthier. From now on, determining the type of skin and knowing its age characteristics is mandatory for the correct choice of cosmetics.

Skin care products and their composition

Almost three-quarters of the volume of the tube with the product are substances called “base”. It has no biological activity, but contains emollients, special substances that completely determine the appearance and properties of the product. For example, day creams should be absorbed quickly, and night creams should be absorbed slowly, otherwise their nutrition will be insufficient. Such properties are regulated by the composition of the base. When choosing cosmetics, it is necessary to focus on it, since many components of the base can cause irritation and acne.

Care products – cleansers

The name “cleansers” was given to substances that can effectively remove impurities from the surface of the skin. These are some types of soap, special milk, creams, foams, hydrophilic oils, as well as some substances created for other purposes, but used to clean the skin. There are classic products that have been used for a long time and, for example, new synthetic analogues.

Cleansers are the most important product of daily hygiene. A good skin cleanser:

  • do not contain alkalis in free form and abrasives;
  • do not irritate the skin;
  • clean well;
  • is well soluble and has high foaming;
  • can be completely removed from the skin surface.

The cleanser should be chosen with particular care, as a low-quality product can cause irritation and redness.

If you have acne and oily skin, a cleanser alone may not be enough to effectively cleanse your skin. In this case, you should apply Aziderm Cream or Clincitop Gel. These drugs are usually applied topically once or twice per day, for example, once in the morning and once at night unless otherwise advised by the doctor. Prior to applying the drug, wash and dry your hands and affected area thoroughly. After that, apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently massage it in.

The recommended period of use is from 2 to 5 weeks, but treatment with these drugs should not exceed 12 weeks of uninterrupted use.
