Mammologist

Every woman who has just crossed the border of 40-45 years should contact this specialist, even if you are not worried about anything! A mammologist is a doctor who treats breast diseases. Regardless of whether you have breastfed, giving birth, doing breast plastics or having a piercing in your nipples, you are required to visit mammologist office to identify any pathology in a timely manner and eliminate it on the early stage. If you have breast pain or you reveal lumps in the breast, run for an appointment with a mammologist. Women who have had breast cancer case in close relatives are at higher risk, so at least every six months, it is advisable to have screening (breast ultrasound).

Gynecologist

Ovarian cancer has a dangerous alias – the “silent killer.” Do you guess why? It can exist for years in your body and manifesting only on the late stage. But there is also good news: if you have not found this disease before the age of 45, your likelihood of falling ill will decrease every year. But this is not the only disease that “hunts” you. In any case, it is necessary to make a cytological analysis at the gynecologist once or twice a year (depending on the medical history). At this age (45-55 years) women have menopause, which leads to major changes in the body (most often, not for the better), for example, disturbed sleep, worrying about sweating, irritability, constant fatigue, aggressiveness, a sharp change of mood, etc. All these factors determine the climax. During this period, it is especially important to visit a gynecologist to examine the cervix, perform cytological tests (cells of the female organs) and analysis for human papillomavirus.

Dermatologist

Many women associated this specialist only with cosmetic problems. In fact, a dermatologist (skin doctor) can identify much more dangerous ailments, such as psoriasis, infectious lesions triggered by fungi, bacteria and viruses, allergic dermatitis and even cancer. Some birthmark can because of cancer. For this reason, you should inspect your body for new or enlarged birthmarks at least once a month and for the first signs of discoloration or change of shape, immediately consult a specialist. Even if you do not see any changes, visit the dermatologist once a year is a very good idea.

Endocrinologist

Thyroid dysfunction is another ailment that “loves” women. 10% of women after 45 will inevitably suffer from it, but, fortunately, it is very easy to identify thyroid disorders early. Excess or, conversely, the deficiency of a particular hormone can be determined by blood analysis. Such common symptoms as constipation, constant fatigue, and lethargy, chills, weight gain can be caused to visit the family doctor that can be recommended visiting endocrinologist.
